In the country "Wursten" you can experience everything about the life at the coast and behind the dykes. Whether beachor "Wattenmeer", idyllic landscapes or historical buildings, enjoy the area around Bremerhaven. The fresh sea-air and the crab purchase directly at the kutter let much "Bremer-havener" spend the weeekend in the country of "Wursten". The earth hills called "Wursten" protect the offshore inhabitants against the forces of the nature and gave this land scape its name.

Sightseeing "HafenBus"
With the harbor bus you can have an exiting trip throug hthe maritime part of Bremerhaven: The harborbus will show you the container terminal, the car exportterminal and the "Lloyd" ship-yard. This working areas are normally closed for visitors. You can see the enormous vancarries close to you and observe the development and reconstruction of ships from all over the world.

An experience is guanranteed here. Here you can experience everything about the topic "fish": Whether you would like to learn: something about the North Sea inhabitants an the "Atlanticum" or something about their preparation in the "Seefisch" Kochstudio" for example, you can see live smoking in a historical smoking furnace. Furthermore you can enjoy a short maintenance in the "TiF", the "theatre in thefishery port". Nowhere else in Germany you can enjoy fish more fresh than in Bremerhaven.
